Falzarego-Lagazuoi ski area offers a wide range of routes and slopes for skiers, in a natural setting of an enchanting beauty, dominated by the Dolomites.
The area is located at the confluence of three valleys, making the link between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Alta Badia.
The top of Lagazuoi massif can be reached by cable car from Falzarego Pass (Passo di Falzarego). Here are two interesting ski slopes for skiing and snowboarding lovers. Lagazuoi ski slope ends at the cable car station in the valley, descending along the eastern side of the mountain. Lagazuoi skiing slope has a total length of 3.5 km with a level difference of 600 meters.
The second ski slope is called Armentarola and its name comes from the town in the valley, at Alta Badia. The slope has a length of 8.5 km and descends on the northwestern side of the mountain, trough Vallon Lagazuoi. Armentarola is certainly one of the most famous ski slopes of the Dolomites Mountains, renowned for its length and extraordinary beauty of the landscape.
On the other side of Lagazuoi are found the Col Gallina ski lifts. The Ski slopes in this area are perfect for beginner skiers and children. The main ski slope, designed for slalom competitions, is equipped with two timekeeping installations. The Col Gallina ski slopes are among the first ski slopes that open the ski season at Cortina d'Ampezzo, since November, and are among the last to close their ski chairlifts and cable cars.
